GET READY FOR OCTOBER 17!

Howdy Gamers! It’s me again, ItsMeDevRoland!
I’m here today to announce a very big undertaking—
the release of Demo 1 of Silicon Architect!


We want to thank you all for your incredible patience as we continue working on this game. ❤️
And in light of that, we’re announcing the first of three Demo builds that will roll out throughout the game’s development!

Today, DEMO 1 includes the main feature loop—a simple testing version designed to ensure that everyone can play the game without major issues, and that the main gameplay feature isn’t a big barrier for casual players.

The game will continue to be updated, so expect a DEMO 1.2 release in response to your feedback and critiques of DEMO 1.
We know it won’t be perfect—heck, we’re even expecting a few bugs or crashes—but that’s exactly why we’re releasing DEMO 1: to polish out the rough edges and make it smooth and enjoyable for both casual and hardcore players alike! 💪

The game has been in early development since as early as July, and we’re deeply thankful to everyone who’s supported us and believed in our project. You’ve trusted us with something very ambitious, and we couldn’t have come this far without you. 💖

It’s no surprise that Demo 1 took forever to release. I, too, feared that I might pile on more and more features, fall into scope creep, and get overwhelmed by the fear of releasing something you all wouldn’t enjoy...
However—after a lot of reflection—I’ve come to terms with it and finally gathered all the strength I need to push out our FIRST DEMO! 🏁

📅 Mark your calendars: OCTOBER 17 - OCTOBER 19! Expect the release of Demo 1!
Demo 1 contains a carefully selected and scoped portion of the game, including:

- 🖥️ The CPU Building Grid System
- ⚙️ The First Prototype of Assembly-Lite
- 🔄 The Main Loop (limited to the Building System)
- 🏆 Scoreboard + stat sharing! (Brag about your creations in our Discord—compete to see who builds the BEST CPU!)
- ✨ And a whole bunch more surprises! ✨

Right now, as we’re focused on our college midterms, there are no plans to release early. We’ll stick to our schedule—expect Demo 1 right here!
